Ayrton Beatty became aware of congenital heart defects when her brother unexpectedly passed away from an undiagnosed heart defect. This event profoundly affected Ayrton. Since the loss of her brother, Ayrton has made it her mission to learn more about congenital heart defects (CHDs) and become an advocate for others living with CHDs. Meanwhile, Ayrton has developed drug-induced Long Q-T Syndrome due to medications she takes for other conditions. Ayrton has been a guest, co-host, and co-producer of The CHC Podcast: Congenital Heart Conversations, which debuted in 2022.
